Terms and Conditions
The minimum age for purchasing alcohol in The Netherlands is 18. By purchasing alcohol from this website, you confirm that you are of legal age for the purchase of alcohol. All deliveries of alcohol will also require that the person who receives them provide proof of age. The courier will ask for some form of legal identification. Without this proof of age, your order will not be left at the delivery address.
All products and vintages are subject to availability. It can be possible that the vintage you purchased has been replaced by a newer vintage. In this case, we will contact you to inform you and get your approval for the change.
If you find one of our bottles advertised for a lower price at another website please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org and we will match the price for you. Some other shops require you to purchase a minimum amount of bottles or a different vintage; pricing for these bottles will not be matched unless you buy the same quantity or vintage as required by the other site.
We deliver to customers in Amsterdam direct from our shop on the Singel. When you checkout, you will be asked to choose a date and time slot for delivery. Because we deliver ourselves, we can offer lower rates for delivery in Amsterdam:
- Free delivery to all addresses on the grachtengordel / canal ring (postcodes 1011 – 1018)
- Free delivery on orders of €25 or more
- Standard delivery on orders under €25 – €5.00
- Same day delivery – €10.00 (contact us first)
For shipping outside of Amsterdam to the rest of The Netherlands:
- Free Standard Shipping on orders of €75 or more – Within 3 working days
- Standard Shipping on orders under €75 – €7.95 – Within 3 working days
- Next business day shipping – €27.95 – The order must be placed before 14:00
Working days are Monday – Friday and do not include Saturday, Sunday, or national holidays.
We will ship to anywhere in The Netherlands for free if you meet minimum order requirements. If your order is €75 it will be shipped without free of charge. If your order must change after it is placed and your order falls below this requirement, shipping will be added unless you add more items to bring it above the minimum requirements for free delivery.
You have the right to return or exchange your products within 14 days of receiving it. The products must be returned in their original packaging. Bottles of wine cannot be opened or have any damage to the foil. If you wish to return your products to us, please send us an email at email@example.com to initiate the process.The cost to ship the items to return to us is for your account. You can also drop off your return at our location in Amsterdam.
In the event that your shipment should arrive damaged, please contact us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please attach any proof of damage that you can to your message. We will dispatch a new order to you as soon as possible.
If your wine is spoiled (oxidation, corked, or otherwise spoiled) we will replace the wine for you at no additional charge and with no proof required. Please contact us at email@example.com to arrange a replacement.
You will receive a full refund on your order, including the original shipping costs, within 7 days of us receiving the returned goods.
We will refund the money to your original form of payment.
We do not process any payment transactions on this website. All payment data is processed by our third party partners who are PCI compliant and take the utmost care in securing and protecting your data.
It can be that certain offers are only available on or website or that certain offers are only available in person at our shop. It is not guaranteed that both locations offer the same price and/or same offers on certain products.
